it's of like 10-15 degrees and the end result of that line will look nothing like it's supposed to as you keep fighting back with the mouse. The cursor steers of in an angle if i try to draw, for example a horizontal line. Did fix the problem but you shouldn't need to do this to a mouse.Second thing: Battery life was promised for 3 months, it's more like 3 weeksThird thing: This is in some Microsoft mouses as i noted that my friend had the same problem also and it's a huge one. It also feels quite stickyish to press.Had to open up the changeable cover and apply tape between the surfaces. It had a lot of promise, but has some really bad things about it.First thing out of the box: The main buttons stick to the lower surface, results in a sort of double click sound where the second click comes from the button unsticking from the surface. Has to be one of the worst mice i've owned and i've had them a lot. For the price, I really can't think of any drawbacks to this mouse, aside from the potentially loose grip on the mouse wheel, but it seems that few users have encountered that problem (and I might actually like the lower-profile mouse wheel in the long-run). Set-up for me was a simple plug-in and go my system recognized the hardware and set it up in under a minute (Windows 7 Ultimate Home 64bit). The battery life is decent- I get anywhere from 1-3 months from one battery, depending on how often it is in use and whether or not I remember to switch the mouse off when I close my laptop screen. I use it for everything from basic browsing to MMO gaming, graphic design and photo editing.

Despite the hang-up, I would recommend this mouse as a portable option to anyone- it's very reasonably priced, the USB receiver is tiny, stores nicely inside the mouse, and it's done a pretty good job for me this year.
The scroll wheel still works very well without it.
I disassembled the mouse to see if there was a way to fix it from the inside, but ultimately broke down and cut the grip off completely. I have owned the mouse for about 10 months and recently noticed that the rubber grip on the scroll wheel was loose and became difficult to use. I use the MS Wireless Mobile Mouse as my primary mouse for my laptop (my main computer), so this puppy gets quite a bit of work.
